NO,NO,NO. No more dead weight. A shrewd move would be contraction.


That might very well be the move for the ACC. I would cut ties with Cuse, BC, Wake, and ND (if they refuse to join in football). Those schools can have fun in a basketball league with the Catholic schools.

I would then payoff the Big12 for WVU.

Then we're left with a legit 12 school league that stretches from Pennsylvania to Miami.

ACCCoastal:
VT
Miami
Louisville
UNC
UVA
WVU

ACCAtlantic:
Duke
GT
Clemson
FSU
NC St.
Pitt

Look at those schedules compared to what we have.
VT would be playing these schools every year:
UVA
Miami
UNC
WVU
Louisville
Heck, I could see them making Clemson our cross over rival.
That would leave 2 of the other 5 schools rotating through each year too. This is FAR superior to what we currently have.

It may even get us out of the ESPN deal. Let's then form a network of our own.
